Welcome to Our New Website
The Association strives to keep residents informed on local issues, activities being offered by the Association and around Columbia, and important safety and weather notifications. We recently updated our website, www.villageofriverhill.org, in order to be more user-friendly and better serve the community. The site is now more easily viewed on mobile devices and we have added features and information including a quick link to “friend us” on Facebook and opportunities for volunteering in the community. The Home Page continues to highlight major initiatives, upcoming events, and the link to sign up for our Email News updates. All Architectural Guidelines, applications, and related forms can easily be downloaded from the site and Board Meeting Agendas and Minutes are posted. Please check out the changes and let us know what you think!
The Village Board and staff are continually working to improve communications with residents. We recently conducted a survey to better understand how residents obtain village-related information and what communication methods you prefer. We learned that despite the rise of electronic communications, The Villager newsletter is still popular, with more than 70 percent of you who responded to our email blast survey saying you have read 8 or more issues within the last 12 months. However, when asked which communications channels you use the most, 69 percent of you identified the Email News blasts sent by the Association. The Villager came in second with almost 53 percent of you identifying the newsletter as their main source of information. We currently have over 500 unique email addresses receiving our updates. If yours isn’t one of them, visit www.villageofriverhill. org and click on the link to sign up. Though used to a lesser degree, the Association’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/RiverHillCommunityAssociation is another resource. We’d love to have more “friends” so check us out!
