Village Board Seeks New Member

Please join the Association in thanking Dipper Wettstein for his service on the Board of Directors. Since his initial election to the Board in April 2011, Dipper has been an active contributor to the Association and the River Hill community. Dipper was instrumental in the formation of the River Hill Watershed Committee, served as Chair of the River Hill Garden Center Committee, and provided valuable insight on development matters and issues affecting the broader Columbia community. Unfortunately, Dipper has decided to step down from the Board of Directors. We wish him all the best and know he will continue to be active in the Columbia community.

The Board of Directors will fill this vacant position by appointment and is currently accepting letters of interest from residents. The term for this position ends April 30, 2016. The Board plans to conduct interviews at the December 8 meeting. Letters of interest should be submitted by December 5 to the River Hill Village Board, 6020 Daybreak Circle, Clarksville, MD 21029 or emailed to manager@villageofriverhill.org. Residents interested in applying for this position are encouraged to contact a current Board Member or the Village Manager to discuss the roles and responsibilities and the issues currently facing the community.
