Spotlight on Service
Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer!
Like so many organizations, River Hill Community Association depends on volunteers throughout the year to support and enhance our community. From serving on committees that fulfill the association’s mission to assisting with neighborhood events to beautifying common spaces, volunteers provide valuable services that enrich the lives of our residents.

Our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner honored the generosity and dedication of those who tirelessly contribute and show unwavering commitment to our community.

Members of the Election Committee establish the rules and regulations to conduct an orderly election and assist on Village Election Day. The annual elections give residents a voice in appointing the board members who will set policies, advocate for residents, and oversee the management of the Association.

Scouts of America Troop 618, proudly chartered by RHCA, consistently contributes to the Village. The scouts pick up trash, participate in community clean-up events, and support the annual Fourth of July parade by acting as marshals, providing the color guard, and cleaning up post-event.

Weed Warrior Bruce Eberle guides volunteers in removing invasive plants and planting native species along Village pathways during a Pull and Plant event.

Thanks to our generous residents, Claret Hall serves as a hub for various drives throughout the year, collecting everything from school supplies to children’s books to food items. Members of the Angel’s Network service club at River Hill High School packed a trunk full of Thanksgiving snack bags for delivery to Grassroots Crisis Interventions. RHCA helped to collect the snacks.
