SECU Announces New Financial Center in Clarksville
SECU, Maryland’s largest credit union, has announced that they will be opening a new financial center in the Clarksville community, and it will be located in the River Hill Square center (former River Hill Garden Center property). The new financial center will be designed to further service SECU’s existing members as well as create more opportunities for the growing membership in the area.
Set to open in the summer of 2020, the new financial center will offer full-service banking and include a drive-up teller and ATM services. It will also follow the prototype design that has been established at the Ellicott City financial center.
This new financial center will allow for five new full-time positions. Currently the credit union employs over 400 individuals across the state of Maryland, serving more than 260,000 members. This financial center will be the 23rd location in the state of Maryland.
“We are thrilled to be opening this financial center in the Clarksville community to further serve our Howard County members and expanding community,” says Dave Sweiderk, CEO of SECU. “This growth shows our commitment to serving our local communities and our commitment to bettering Maryland as a whole.”
