Robinson Overlook is the mixed income, multi-family rental housing community being planned by the Woda Cooper Companies and the Howard County Housing Commission on 3.8 acres at 7410 Grace Drive. The project consists of a plan for 48 apartment units. As required by the Howard County’s regulations, a community pre-submission meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 6 p.m. at the Hawthorn Center (6175 Sunny Spring, Columbia). The pre-submission community meeting process is for the developer to provide information to the community regarding the proposed residential or non-residential development and to allow community residents the opportunity to ask questions and make comments about the development proposal.
Rental units do not involve subdivision and therefore the county’s review process begins with the site development plan (SDP). At the pre-submission meeting, the developer will present the concept plans. The SDP must be submitted to Howard County’s Department of Planning and Zoning for processing within one year of the meeting date.
