Mark Your Calendars for Columbia Cleans Day

Volunteers are needed to help clean up neighborhoods across Columbia. Local residents can help restore and protect Columbia’s waterways by participating in a Columbia-Wide Clean Up Day, Saturday, April 14.  In River Hill, volunteers will work 9 a.m. – Noon to clean up assigned areas.

Individuals, groups, scouts, and those wishing to earn community service hours are encouraged to sign up.  Volunteers are asked to register by contacting Claret Hall at 410-531-1749 or contacting Sean Harbaugh of the Columbia Association at 410-381-3470.

 

Electronic Recycling Event at Claret Hall

In honor of Earth Day, the River Hill Community Association will be holding a recycling event at Claret Hall on Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Electronic Solution Services (ESS) will be collecting the following items to be reused or recycled: Computers, Hard Drives, Video Equipment, Printers and Plotters, Wireless Devices, Old Cell Phones & Batteries, Monitors & LCD Screens, Phone Systems and Switches. The service of deleting all personal data and reformatting hard drives before the donation of the equipment will also be available. River Hill Residents Only and ID required
