Our Venues: The Village of River Hill in Columbia has two beautiful spaces available for your next event or meeting. (*Please note we always adhere to the latest executive order for gathering.) Both spaces feature new air purification systems to keep you and your guests safe, and the facilities are currently able to be rented. Claret Hall is located in the River Hill Village Center. The Meeting Room in River Hill is located a mile away and is adjacent to the outdoor pool. (Please scroll down to view both.)

Claret Hall

Located at Route 108 and Route 32 in Clarksville, Maryland,  25 minutes from Baltimore and 45 minutes from Washington, D.C., Claret Hall in River Hill is perfect for your special occasion social events.  Our indoor space features gorgeous high ceilings and our outdoor space has a lovely gazebo to serve as your focal point. The atrium lobby with fireplace is the perfect entry point for your guests.

The Entire Facility can currently accommodate 10 with social distancing and use of the Board Room (the smaller room at the front of the building). See floor plan.

The Banquet Room alone can be rented and currently accommodates 10. No buffets are allowed and servers must be used.

When you rent the Banquet Room, you have access to the outdoor patio, garden, the kitchen and the lobby.

When renting Claret Hall, your room will be set up according to the floor plan you provide to our staff in advance. When you arrive for your special event, you will need to decorate and put your linens/table coverings on.

There will be a Facility Assistant on duty throughout your event at Claret Hall.

You can use any caterer you like, as long as they have appropriate insurance.

You may serve liquor if your event is a non-ticketed, private party. and it is only served to those aged 21-years and older.

You will have access to free wireless internet.

Meeting rates starting at $150 for 2 hours.

Weekend Social Event rates from $140/hr. (5-hour minimum)

Class/Instructor rates starting at $18/hr.

Those living on Columbia assessed property, Active Duty Military and Non-Profit Organizations receive a 10% discount.

The Meeting Room (Recently Renovated!)

Located at 6330 Trotter Road in Clarksville, Maryland, The Meeting Room is a smaller, less formal space that accommodates up to 60 people. With its beautiful wood-beamed ceiling, large windows, brand new flooring and an updated, ADA compliant, galley kitchenette, the “self serve” nature of this un-staffed room makes it a great bargain for kids’ parties, classes, meetings, and community gatherings.

There is no outdoor space associated with The Meeting Room.

Renters set up the room themselves. There is no staff present.

You can use any caterer you like, as long as they provide evidence of appropriate insurance.

All business meetings require evidence of insurance coverage.

You may serve liquor if your event is a non-ticketed, private party, and not a children’s party.

Wireless internet is available.

Meeting rates starting at $45/hr.

Children’s (13 & Under) Birthday Party rates starting at $55/hr. (for 3 hours up til 6 p.m. No alcohol is allowed at children’s birthday parties.)

Social Event rates starting at $80/hr. (5-hour minimum)

Class/Instructor rates starting at $18/hr.
