Now Accepting Nomination Petitions for Village Board and Columbia Council Rep
Village of River Hill residents will vote on April 29 to elect 3 Directors and the community’s Columbia Council Representative. The nomination period is now open and the Association is seeking candidates. These positions have two-year terms of office:
May 1, 2017 – April 30, 2019. All nomination petitions must be submitted c/o Election Committee by March 21 at 9 p.m. For convenience, the document is available here: NOMINATION PETITION 2017. These positions provide the perfect opportunity for residents to become more involved and make an impact.
The nomination petition must be signed by at least ten (10) River Hill residents age eighteen and older. Following submittal, all petitions will be validated by the Election Committee. Due to publication dates, candidate statements (a maximum of 150 words) and a high-resolution, digital photo must be submitted with the nomination petition. Candidate statements will appear in the April issue of The Villager and the Columbia Flier election supplement.
