New Merchant at the Village Center

gnc_preview-logoHave you noticed that there is a new store at the River Hill Village Center? A few months ago, GNC (General Nutrition Centers) opened in the storefront that formerly housed the Panda Kitchen restaurant.

Owner, Sajid Javaid, invites the community to stop by and check out the wide selection of items including weight loss products, all types of proteins, multivitamins, and herbs. A large inventory of gluten-free foods is also available. You’ll receive 30% off your entire purchase along with buy one get one 50% off through October by simply asking for their coupon during check out. Gold card memberships are available for $15 per year which entitle users to earn cash back on purchases, coupons and other benefits. In addition, the store is offering free workout drink samples. Simply ask for it.

This GNC location is Javaid’s 8th store. He has two other stores in Maryland located in Pasadena and Dundalk, as well as, four stores in New York and one store in New Jersey. Mr. Javaid is interested in creating opportunities for youth to become educated about nutrition and to also learn about retail business. Training programs are offered for teens ages 17 and up to learn about the products, how to maintain shelves and develop customer service skills that could potentially lead to employment. If interested, contact Mr. Javaid by email at chsajidjavaid@hotmail.com or by calling the store at 410-531-1426.

GNC is proud to be a sponsor of River Hill’s 25th Birthday Celebration. Look for them at the popcorn machine near the courtyard at the Village Center on Saturday, September 17.
