Don’t worry if it’s past January 17! You can still recycle your tree at the Alpha Ridge Landfill Wood Waste Area, 2350 Marriottsville Road, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Christmas Lights and Artificial Trees Please DO NOT put Christmas lights in your curbside recycling bins. Cords damage equipment at the recycling processor. Instead, recycle old, broken holiday lights at My Organic Market (7351 Assateague Drive, Jessup through January 31 and receive a 30% off coupon for energy efficient lighting.
