Master Gardener – Grow It! Eat It! Starting a Vegetable Garden

A vegetable garden can be established in containers on your patio, in a sunny spot in your yard, or in a community garden plot. The harvest from your garden will provide you with fresh healthy produce and save you money. Learn the basic components of how to establish your own vegetable garden and effective ways to sustain it–just in time for spring.

This presentation covers planning your garden, selecting a site, preparing the soil, planting crops, and taking care of your garden. It will take place on Saturday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at Claret Hall, 6020 Daybreak Circle, Clarksville and will be approximately one and one-half hours.

It is free to attend, but we do need to know you’re coming, so please drop by Claret Hall or call 410-531-1749 to register.

See you there!
