Lakefront Wednesdays Lunchtime Concerts Series

Kick off your heels and dance in the grass at Lakefront Wednesdays Lunchtime Concerts Series begins Wednesday, May 11 at Downtown Columbia Lakefront  

The Columbia Association (CA) invites those who live or work in Howard County to take a mid-week break at the Lakefront Wednesdays Concert Series. Starting May 11, CA will host a live concert at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront on Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m. The lunchtime concert series’ popularity has grown significantly in recent years and the broad appeal of its acts brings in a diverse crowd of young families, retirees and downtown employees on their lunch break.

In addition to great live music, the first 50 guests who sign in at the visitor’s welcome tent will receive free cold beverages and restaurant coupons. Also, each week concertgoers can enter a raffle for great prizes.

This year’s series includes series favorites and popular local musicians representing a wide variety of musical styles, including rock, folk and jazz. The following is a schedule of performances for the 2011 Lakefront Wednesdays lunchtime concert series:
