I have enjoyed serving on the Village of River Hill’s Board of Directors and am honored to now serve as the Columbia Council Representative. My wife, Brianna, and I moved to the Pointers Run neighborhood in 2018, shortly before the birth of our son. We were attracted to the community amenities including the swimming pool, tot lots, and walking paths. Our neighbors quickly introduced themselves to us and our sense of community has grown continuously.
I grew up in the Boston area, became an Eagle Scout, and attended Dartmouth College receiving a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Later, I attended The Johns Hopkins University and received a masters degree in Computer Science. I have been employed by the Applied Physics Lab (APL) for more than twenty years.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, including at the Long Reach Tennis Center. My family and I are also avid players of board games, as my three-year old son’s favorite game is “Don’t Break the Ice.” Prior to COVID we enjoyed attending GenCon, one of the largest gaming conventions in the nation. We hope to be able to take our toddler there soon.
I look forward to continuing to serve the Village of River Hill as the next member on the Columbia Association Board of Directors.
