We have been working together to face the challenges posed by the current coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to our River Hill residents for remaining at home as much as possible, practicing social distancing when you do go out, and wearing masks when required. Residents have really shown that the community can come together, be considerate and supportive of others, and be flexible. The association would love to hear how you, your neighbors, or friends have been coping with COVID and turning the pandemic into something positive. Send your photos and stories to email@example.com.
This online version of the June issue along with the previous April/May issue is more robust than the printed versions mailed to homes. Information is provided on donating to local food drives, providing assistance to the elderly and others who are isolated from friends and family, ways local youth are contributing to the Columbia/Howard County community, updates about the Columbia Association, tips for mulching your gardens, and much more. Also, be sure to check out our online calendar at www.villageofriverhill.org/events/calendar which contains many ideas for continuing to grow and stay connected while limiting in-person interaction.
