An Exterior Alteration Application must be submitted for new gutters and downspouts.
Gutters and downspouts provide a water management system when designed appropriately, avoids exterior damage to the structure, soil erosion, and may not exacerbate stormwater runoff into neighbors’ dwellings. Drainage, overflow, and stormwater runoff shall not be discharged directly into neighboring properties. Replacement of existing gutters and downspouts, provided there are no color changes, does not require an application.
- A diagrammed site (plot) plan showing the location of the gutters and downspouts.
Note: Applications without a diagrammed plot plan will not be accepted.
- Description of the house color and trim, and a paint sample showing the proposed color blends with the current colors of the dwelling.
- Description of material change, if applicable.
