Coupon Clipping to Benefit Military Families
As part of the National Day of Service events, Claret Hall will be the site of two coupon clipping sessions to help military families living overseas. The Overseas Coupon Program collects and sends coupons to military families living abroad for use at their base commissary in order to assist them with reducing their food costs. Come in from the cold during January and help clip coupons on Wednesday, January 13 from 10 a.m. to noon or on Thursday, January 14 from 7-9 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments while you socialize and cut coupons! Participants must be age 10 and up. Speakers of other languages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Please pre-register by January 12 by calling 410-531-1749. If you have any unwanted coupon circulars, please bring them along. Even if the coupons expired in December or early January, the commissary will still accept them for up to six months after the expiration date.
