Columbia Home Tour Benefits Rebuilding Together Ho. Co.

The 5th Anniversary Columbia Home Tour was a remarkable achievement for all those involved. This annual home tour highlights the rich diversity of architectural styles, promotes Columbia’s history and lifestyle, and supports the community by donating tour proceeds to a local charity.

The Home Tour Committee is proud to announce that this Council Corner: Living on the Edge, from page 1 Joan Lancos (Home Selection Chair), Anne Kulesza (Publicity Chair), Ann Heavner (Executive Director, Rebuilding Together Howard County), Brigitta Warren (Committee Chair), Sandy Cederbaum (Parliamentarian), Pat Loeber (Florist Coordinator). year’s benefitting charity will receive the largest donation yet in the history of the Columbia Home Tour. On June 26, 2014 Brigitta Warren, Chair of the Columbia Home Tour, along with other committee members, presented Ann Heavner, Executive Director
of Rebuilding Together Howard County, a check in the amount of $5,000.00.

“The Columbia Home Tour’s partnership with Rebuilding Together has helped to ensure the tour’s success,” notes Ms. Warren. “Working with their organization, has offered new perspectives and new opportunities.”

The Columbia Home Tour will be on hiatus until June 2017, when it will be reintroduced in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Columbia.
