Music Together with Sonia will be responsible to provide high quality Music Together classes to children ages 0-5.

Classes are 45 minutes in length.

Our classes focus on encouraging families to participate in music in a playful atmosphere without pressure to perform. We honor children’s various learning styles and temperaments, and we encourage participation by accepting and including their spontaneous responses. We also understand how important movement is when it comes to music learning—unlike some other early childhood music programs, sitting still is not required

Classes offered on Monday and Thursday at Claret Hall in the River Hill Village Center.

The GOSU Institute of Chinese Martial Arts offers class instruction on weeknights at The Meeting Room next to the outdoor pool in River Hill. Traditional and Modern Kung Fu is offered. Modern Kung Fu (or Wushu) is an acrobatic and athletic version of traditional Kung Fu that was created for performance and competition. Practitioners of this style include movie stars Jet Li and Donnie Yen. Traditional Kung Fu focuses on self-defense, combat, and improvement of health. This fusion of Chinese Martial Arts helps to retain tradition while also providing a great work-out!

Coach Ching-Yin Lee has trained in Chinese Martial Arts for 24 years, which includes experience in Traditional Southern Style Kung Fu, Modern Wushu (Northern and Southern Style), Tai Chi Chuan, Xing Yi Quan, Yi Quan, and boxing. His central teachers include Dr. Lee (Fu Ying Quan She Tai Club), Coach Anthony Sims (O-Mei Wushu/Kung Fu Center), and Master Lu Xiaolin (OMei Wushu/Kung Fu Center). He is a two-time U.S. Wushu Team Member and double medalist at the Pan American Wushu Games.

GOSU Martial Arts aims to deliver high quality martial arts for an affordable, low price. All levels of classes are offered. GOSU develops the students’ mind, body and character!

Join us for the Fiddle Song Collection this Fall!

You’ll learn twenty-five beloved Music Together® songs and activities you can recreate at home. During the chant “Sounds of Fall” your child will be mesmerized as the class expresses the sound and movement of leaves falling and birds chirping and flying. In “Old King Cole” you will don the persona of the King, Queen, Price, Princess, and Baby as you sing, drum, and fiddle together. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, online access to the songs through the Hello Everybody app, and a family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas. This semester, we will also be celebrating the International Day of Peace with a very special Music Together Around the World party and you are invited!
