Many River Hill residents have expressed their concern regarding the closure of this local institution. Residents are encouraged to share their views with Councilperson Sigaty, mksigaty@howardcountymd.gov; County Executive Ulman, kulman@howardcountymd.gov; Congressman Cummings, http://cummings.house.gov/contact/; and Senator Cardin, http://cardin.senate.gov/email/ .  Let them know if you’d like the post office to reopen locally.

On August 12, County Executive Ulman announced that Howard County has offered the use of the Gateway School parcel to the USPS under a “zero dollar ground lease agreement for at least two years.”  As additional information becomes available, residents will be informed.
