Celebrate National Night Out with Your Friends & Neighbors!
DOWNLOAD YOUR PARTY PACKET HERE
From 7 to 10 pm on Tuesday, August 7 residents throughout Clarksville and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police. The purpose is to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime efforts
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
- Send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
The River Hill Community Association is helping you plan your National Night Out event by providing a $25 block party grant and a Party Packet full of ideas and templates to help you plan a fun neighborhood party. Be sure to let us know when and where your event is by July 15. We’ll notify local police and community leaders so that you may receive a visit from a police officer, K-9’s, police motorcycles, McGruff, or other law enforcement agency.
