Celebrate National Night Out in the Village Center!

Come Out for Ice Cream, Bicycling, Music and Friends!

On Tuesday, August 3, residents of River Hill are invited to celebrate the 27th anniversary of National Night Out. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a Bike Rodeo sponsored by Headstrong Cycling. Residents are encouraged to ride their bikes to the event and participate in obstacle courses, safety demonstrations and helmet safety. The goal of the Rodeo is to help teach children the importance of seeing, being seen, and remaining in control at all times when riding a bike through a series of bike handling drills and the simulation of traffic situations. The Rodeo will focus on helmet usage, basic safety strategy, laws and regulations and stands to be tons of fun for those who participate.

In addition to our bike Rodeo, Gary and The Groove will be performing family favorites while singing and dancing in the courtyard. The band is a crowd favorite and will be certain to entertain people of all ages.

The River Hill Community Association will also provide free Ice Cream Sundaes with all of your favorite toppings while local police officers and mascots visit with our residents.

This special evening is open to all residents and will be a fabulous way to celebrate National Night Out with your neighbors. For additional information or to request your free ice cream sundae tickets call Mary Harris at 410-531-1749 or events@villageofriverhill.org.
