CA Board Dispute Heads to Court

River Hill’s Columbia Association representative, Eric Greenberg, who was removed from the CA Board of Directors in April, has filed a lawsuit in Howard County Circuit Court challenging the board’s action.

Greenberg, along with fellow ousted board members Karin Emery of Oakland Mills and Reginald Avery of Long Reach, contends that Columbia Association improperly removed them from their positions. The lawsuit seeks their reinstatement to the board seats to which they were elected by their respective village communities.

A preliminary hearing in the case has been rescheduled for July 1, 2026. In light of the revised court schedule, the next Columbia Association Board of Directors meeting has been moved to July 9.

Additional information will be shared as the case progresses and further details become available.
