Association to Host Council Member Jung at Town Hall Meeting in December

The River Hill Board of Directors (RHBOD) is taking steps to enhance engagement with the elected officials who represent River Hill residents at the local and state level. To start, the association will host a Town Hall-style meeting with Deb Jung, County Council Member for District 4. The meeting is an opportunity for Council Member Jung to hear from members of our community on topics of interest and to discuss upcoming legislation and regulations.

Renee DuBois, River Hill’s representative on the Columbia Council and a Columbia Association Board Member, will facilitate the session. Following introductions, the meeting will begin with questions posed by the RHBOD. Members of the audience will then have an opportunity to ask questions. The RHBOD expects all participants to remain respectful and considerate throughout the evening. Members of the community are encouraged to share the questions they’d like answered in advance with the Village Manager, no later than December 6. When submitting questions, please identify yourself and your address. This will help to inform the questions asked by the association, enable similar questions to be grouped, and help keep the question and answer period moving smoothly.

The Town Hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 10 from 7:30-9 p.m. at Claret Hall. Due to limited seating, residents from the Village of River Hill will be given entrance priority and IDs will be checked at the door. Non-residents will only be permitted if there is space available. Questions? Contact the Village Manager, Susan Smith, at 410-531-1749 or manager@villageofriverhill.org.
