Despite the chilly and windy weather on Sunday, October 17, older adults in River Hill and members of The Village in Howard (TVIH) enjoyed good conversations and a hearty potluck meal. An array of appetizer snacks, sandwiches, salads, casseroles and delicious desserts were shared thanks to the many residents and Village in Howard members that came out for this fun gathering.
This is the first joint activity between the Village of River Hill and TVIH, a non-profit organization of 170 members who assist 55+ residents in Howard County to age in place. Many TVIH social and Zoom programs (Saturday and Monday walks, music lectures, virtual meditation, travel slide shows) are free and open to the public. Check the calendar on their website, www.thevillageinhoward.org for registration information.
